This is Albuquerque's fourth annual May show. We plan to have loads of fun as we celebrate with our furry cat friends. Proceeds from the show benefit Albuquerque Cat Action Team and New Mexico Animal Friends. Ya'll come!

Airport – Fly into Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ). Howard Sandia Courtyard provides an airport shuttle service. Call 296-4852 for pickup.
Show Hall – School Arts Building, New Mexico State Fairgrounds (EXPO New Mexico). The show hall is climate-controlled. No night watchman will be on duty.
Enter through Gate 3 at the fairgrounds. Gate 3 is at the intersection of Copper Ave. NE and San Pedro Dr. NE. There is a stoplight at that intersection.

Enter through Gate 3 and you will be directed as to
where to park. Go to the School Arts Building once there.

Show Hotel
– The Howard Sandia Courtyard I-40/Eubank will be the official show hotel. The hotel
provides free shuttle service to and from the airport on a twenty four hour
basis. Rates are $55.00 per day plus tax for single/double/triple occupancy.
There is a $10 pet deposit. The Enchanted Cat Club has elected to use the TICA
Hotel Room Inspection Procedures for exhibitors who lodge at the Howard Sandia
Courtyard using the club’s group booking. Entry in this show, and lodging at the Howard
Sandia Courtyard, using the club’s group booking, shall constitute an acknowledgment by
and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures. (Standing Rules 903.7)
Reservations can be made by calling 1-505-296-4852 or 1-800-877-4852. You must
mention that you are with the cat show to get this special rate.
Show Hours
– Check in on Saturday and Sunday will be from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30. Judging
will begin at 9 a.m. both days. Advertised show hours will be 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
both days. Exhibitors may not leave the show before the advertised hours
without permission of the show management.
Cages
– PLEASE READ THIS! The show cages are Single – 22 x 24 x 27 inches. A Double
cage is 22 x 48 x 27 inches. If you choose to bring your own cage, you must
make sure it fits in a Single space, otherwise, make sure to order an extra half
cage or a grooming space.
Supplies
– Litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter boxes. People food
will be available in and around the Fairgrounds.
Health Rules
– This is a non-vetted show. However, all entries should be inoculated against
Feline Enteritis, Rhino and Calici, plus test negative for Felv. All claws,
front and back, must be clipped. Cats showing any evidence of fleas, mites,
fungus or disease will be removed from the show hall. In the case of
disqualification by a veterinarian, the TICA rules state that all other entries
owned or agented by the responsible exhibitor shall also forfeit their place and
be removed from the show as well. Household Pet adults must be neutered.
Registration
– Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown once in TICA with a pending
registration number. Points may be claimed after the registration number is
assigned, but only for the first show where the cat did not have a registration
number in the catalog. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not
be scored. All Korats (kittens, cats, alters) must be TICA registered to be
shown. All Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed and New Trait entries must
also be registered.
Show Rules
– This cat show is sanctioned by The International Cat Association and is
subject to TICA Show Rules and Breed Standards (available from the TICA
Executive Office, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551, or posted on the TICA
website
http://www.tica.org). By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the
decisions of the Show Committee and Judges. The Enchanted Cat Club, TICA, EXPO
NEW MEXICO and the Howard Sandia Courtyard will be held harmless for any damages,
claims, losses, etc. of/to the exhibitor and his/her entries.
Clerks
– Will be compensated by a free entry or the cash equivalent for clerking both
days. A one-day clerk will receive the cash equivalent of 1/2 the entry fee.
Clerks will receive lunch and marked catalog with final and breed.
Advertising
– Advertising is available in the show catalog in both black and white and
color. Ads must be camera ready or submitted in pdf or equivalent format.
